Great veiw, nice lake! But! Old and run down campground. Signs everywhere add to a trashy look and their out houses are really small and not vented (on a + 30 day their was a literal draft comming up the toilet hole that just sat closed in whith you as you did your business.) Camp grounds set back only a couple of feet from the gravel road so every time some one drives by you get dusted.
Awesome place for the kids. Fishing is excellent. Camp hosts extremely helpful and pleasant
I dont offen review. Or even feel a need! But this weekend this camp ground lost 3 guest. 1. We turn a generator on 10 minutes before nine and were completely crewed for it. There was a 16 month old in the trailer and it was really cool there was no more battery power. 2. The staff kept coming back into the site after that and making excuses. We were following all the rule at the site and we arent a rowdy bunch at all. 3. My son was given trouble over my girl riding her bike around the road around the park. And my children are very well mannered and kind. We would expect any less. My 16 year old told me the man was very rude. 4. The came to complain about generator. Been to noisy! And the statement made. Was with the size of your unite you sure have an inverter generator. As well as the length of time was argued about how long we had it running. Mean time half the damn park had loud generators going. 20 years we been camping 20 years and this camp ground made a quiet relaxing trip. Into hell for our family and we are quite nice people that leave the site better then we recived it. I am frustrated. I wouldnt give any stars but I have to give something its to bad because this is a bueatiful spot.
Sshhh! Its a hidden gem! Fishing wasnt great, but the place is beautiful!
Nice lake. Campground charges 25$/sleeping unit. Not site, which I think is dumb. We had a single site with two sleeping units( tent and trailer) and it was 50$/ night that they charged us. Also the sit s seem small. No water pumps handy either. Only good thing really is the lake.
